Anderson's Nursery!

This one is so bittersweet for me because we did all this work and had her nursery looking so beautiful and she never slept a night in here. Don't freak, we just moved and so now we have a room that has her furniture but no paint and nothing on the walls. I will be working on the room in the next few months, to try and replicate it but it seriously kills me because it was perfect. In the short time we had her in that house, she did enjoy her room. She loved the serene feeling and she loved looking at herself in the mirror above the changing pad after baths. Before she was born I would come sit in here and just think of how wonderful it was going to be when she got here. My dreams were not even close to how wonderful it really ended up being. Holding her, all the joy she brings me everyday and I cannot forget the amount of love I have for her is beyond words. This room represents so much! Daddy and I worked so hard to get it ready for you little girl! Hopefully we can replicate it to perfection, but if not, you have these photos to remember how we prepared for your arrival.

My favorite thing about this room was that it would get the nicest lighting every day in the afternoon. It was my favorite. It reminded me of Father of the Bride II. How every nursery should look and feel, so relaxing.

  1. How long are the shelves on the wall that your husband made?

    1. We do not live at that house anymore, so I cannot just go and measure. I believe we followed these instructions though so they would be these same measurements. If you want them different lengths though you can just do the addition needed in order to figure out how this will make perfect floating shelves! Let me know if you need anything else! Thanks!
